Project Summary

An out-of-state client brought this 2024 Land Rover Defender 110 to Lux Auto Studio with a single directive: build something that would never blend in. The vision was a complete, ground-up transformation — not a single upgrade but a cohesive statement pulling together bodywork, color, wheels, and protection. Every choice, from the two-tone InoMatte finish to the bronze wheels and custom red calipers, was made to deliver a truly one-of-one Defender. This was a full makeover in the purest sense, and it's exactly the kind of project the Never Blend In philosophy was built for.

The Build

We started by fitting a custom wide body kit to give the Defender a wider, more planted stance and the clearance to run an aggressive wheel-and-tire package. The entire body was then wrapped in Inozetek InoMatte PPF, creating a sharp two-tone contrast of white body panels against deep gloss black — protection and style in one layer. Custom white-painted accents and cosmetic trim carried the two-tone theme throughout, while the brake calipers were finished in bold custom red for a hit of contrast behind the spokes. Deep bronze multi-spoke wheels on fresh performance rubber fill the widened arches, and a roof-mounted overhead light bar tops off the rugged, commanding silhouette. To finish, we applied a ceramic coating for lasting gloss and hydrophobic protection and installed precision window tint. The result is a Defender that commands attention on the road and stops traffic in the studio.
