BMW M850i HERITAGE EDITION

Full-Body InoMatte PPF, Sealed for Life

scope of work

FULL-BODY INOZETEK INOMATTE PPF
Every exterior panel was wrapped in Inozetek InoMatte paint protection film — hood, fenders, doors, roof, quarters, and rear. The satin purple finish shifts under sunlight while a rugged urethane layer absorbs road debris, rock chips, and daily wear. Edges were wrapped and tucked for a factory-clean, seamless look.
FEYNLAB PPF & VINYL CERAMIC COATING
The entire film surface was topped with Feynlab's PPF & Vinyl ceramic coating, engineered specifically for matte and satin substrates. This adds hydrophobic protection and stain resistance without introducing unwanted gloss. The result is a matte finish that stays cleaner, sheds water, and wipes down effortlessly.
MATTE FINISH PRESERVATION
Matte and satin surfaces are notoriously difficult to keep looking uniform, so the coating was selected to lock in the InoMatte's flat, even sheen. It guards against fingerprints, water spotting, and fuel splash around the filler area. The satin depth of the purple stays consistent panel to panel.
EDGE & HIGH-IMPACT PROTECTION
Attention was paid to the leading edges most exposed to highway impact — the front bumper, hood lip, and mirror-adjacent panels. The InoMatte film's self-healing urethane construction shrugs off minor scratches and swirl marks. Long-term, the paint underneath stays flawless and factory-fresh.

Project Summary

The owner of this 2026 BMW M850i Heritage Edition came to Lux Auto Studio with one clear priority: protect the paint without compromising the car's striking presence. Rather than a standard clear film, they wanted a finish that made a statement — a deep, color-shifting satin purple that turns heads while shielding every panel underneath. This build married bold aesthetics with serious long-term protection, exactly the kind of project that lives up to 'Never Blend In.' The M850i left as a genuine one-of-one on the road.

The Build

We wrapped the entire exterior in Inozetek InoMatte PPF, applying the film panel by panel across the hood, roof, doors, fenders, and rear with edges wrapped and tucked for a seamless, factory-integrated finish. The satin purple shifts beautifully in sunlight, playing against the gloss-black mirror caps, kidney grilles, and M badging. Once the film was laid and cured, we topped the full body with Feynlab PPF & Vinyl Coating — a ceramic layer formulated to bond with matte and satin surfaces without adding gloss. This gives the film hydrophobic, stain-resistant properties that make maintenance simple and keep the matte sheen uniform across every panel. The self-healing urethane handles daily road hazards while the coating locks in the look. The finished M850i delivers rock-chip protection, easier upkeep, and a color no factory ever offered.
